ABOUT ME
Hi, my name’s Tim Allen and I teach bass and ukulele. I have been a professional musician and music teacher all of my adult life.
I play and teach all styles of electric bass: metal, jazz, rock, classic rock, country, and funk. I teach everyone from absolute beginners to advanced students, adults, and children. I also teach ukulele.
I like to teach fundamentals and get the students to play songs as quickly as possible. I also like to stress music theory and reading music. I have a lot of technique exercises, scale, and arpeggio patterns that will take your playing to the next level. not only that, I will explain how to use them in music.
I would be happy to transcribe any song you want to learn and teach it to you. I’m always happy to answer student questions about instruments and equipment.
